I 've done this many times and I don 't see anything obvious in your script,
but I have had lot 's of problems with the
SET UNTIL TIME 'SYSDATE-1 ';
type of command in 8i and 9i. You might try explicitly setting
NLS_DATE_FORMAT at the OS level and in the auxillary database init.ora.
